Chasing the Sun

perfect English day, full of clouds, and drizzles. It is beautiful! Joseph and I marveled at the "manors" and "country estates" we could see as we descended from the sky. One even looked like a full blown castle.

Our travel was long but smooth. We had such nice and pleasant people the whole journey, which was an amazing blessing, considering how tired we both were, on about an hour and a half of sleep. It feels strange to have gone through a whole day within about 10 hours and be on the other side of the weekend already! 

As we flew east, the sun seemed to be permanently fixed on the horizon. It was as if we were chasing it backwards around the earth, and not letting it set. It finally let go and went dark, but not for long.

Right now, we are on a bus heading from London to Oxford and I just got called "Love" for the first time by the sweet bus driver. If our whole trip goes as smoothly and kindly as it has so far, we are in for a glorious experience!
